"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

Apophysis..which does fractals...
You can make something cool in this program in like 10 minutes..but the rendering takes like an half an hour...
Cinema 4d..I'm still learning how to use it, but I became a pro overnight...lawl...
Terragen..makes scenery and landscape art....isn't hard to use at all seeming it's all numbers and colors and camera positioning.
Then there's photoshop...which is a must for all digital artists or hand artists because photoshop is da bomb...could take you a few months to learn how to use it unlike ther other programs which could take a few dedicated hours or days.
